A journey into the expression of the sensations produced by observing the chaos, distortions and silences of the anthropized environment.
Biography
I was born in Bari, capital of the Apulia region in the south of Italy.
I’m a multidisciplinary artist with a background of architectural interior designer.
My works originate from observing the anthropized environment.
My gaze focuses on the gradual disappearance of beauty in the majority of architectural structures, now daughters of modernization and capitalist accumulation, on the disfigurement of the territory and the environment, as a consequence of hyper-productivity and the ever-increasing unbridled consumerism, as well as on the consequent "ugliness" of the individual/person.
Through abstract forms and compositions expressed with different means, I want to convey what Simonides defined as silent poetry...
